caitlin and i have become obsessed with recording, collecting, and exchanging images of Moscow Fashion Mistakes. here are some of my favourites, this girl cant be more than 16.....
yes, i agree, she is beautiful and she has a great body. but she is also about 15. the subject in russian says "girl entering high school, 2006" and the foto was taken outside her school on the first of september. my question is: how did her parents let her out of the house? and what did the teachers think? i mean could you imagine if rosie or migumi suddenly came to your class like that!!!!?!!!
you are right about the first day in school in russia and, no, the thing is she DIDNT feel out of placE. when russian women dress like that they think they are beautiful. i am sure she got up at 4 am to do the make up. and she didnt mind having her picture taken either, i suppose it made her feel like a model. of course i agree with you that people should have the right to wear what they want to school, especially when it comes to religious differences.....the picture was taken by my friend as an example of bad taste, not as something inherently evil that should be banned..... keep on arguing!
